Pumpkin’s primary revenue comes from taking a commission on user spending within the platform.
Token incentives drive continuous user contributions. We use "Energy" as a currency to evaluate a user's contributions to the platform. To earn token rewards, users must make both social and economic contributions.
For users with social needs, they contribute socially by creating profiles, swiping, engaging in voice rooms, and interacting with friends’ posts. This not only fulfills their social desires but also generates social contributions. On the economic side, they contribute through behaviors like playing games, sending gifts, viewing paid content, and participating in on-chain interactions, which generate economic contributions. These activities allow users to accumulate Energy.
For social supply-side users—those with looks or talents—interacting with demand-side users provides them with social satisfaction, generating social contributions. Meanwhile, the spending from demand-side users results in economic contributions, enabling supply-side users to accumulate Energy.
For users without social needs, we offer the Pumpkin Bot. These users can earn Energy through governance participation, user referrals, product proposals, community engagement, and event participation.
Once users accumulate Energy, they can combine it with their AI in the Pumpkin App to convert it into Pumpkin Tokens. As the AI evolves, users can enjoy enhanced social privileges and earn more Energy bonuses, incentivizing further social and economic contributions. This creates a self-sustaining cycle, driving engagement and token generation.
